This express treatment can be used just to relax or I can talk you through your product prescription as I apply the products and give you information on how to use them throughout the treatment.

One hour of bliss. Following your consultation, products will be selected to suit your skin concerns and what product consistencies you prefer, (e.g. oil, gel or lotion, peel off mask or clay mask).
Once on the heated bed the treatment begins. Firstly, an eye treatment followed by a double cleanse to remove impurities.
Next, your skin will be exfoliated using enzymes (no granules) under steam. Next, extraction of comedones followed by a facial massage including lymphatic drainage and pressure points to leave you thoroughly relaxed and skin glowing. Your mask will be applied and left for 10 minutes whilst you receive a massage to your area of choice – hand and arm, scalp or neck and shoulder. Your mask will be removed with hot towels and finished with serum, moisturiser and SPF to finish.

Indicated for oily, problematic and congested skins.
This exfoliation under steam will break down dead cells and oil using enzymes to leave skin soft and smooth. Extractions will be performed then a cooling mask applied. Receive a mini massage while your mask is working.

BLEMISH REMOVAL
I am a licensed electrolysis (diathermy) practitioner using Sterex machines to safely remove most types of blemish.
Moles, thread veins, cherry angiomas (blood blisters), warts, skin tags, sebaceous hyperplasia and sebhorroeic keratoses can all be removed or reduced using this established method.
A fine needle (thinner than a hair) carries electric current which cauterises the blood vessels within the blemish, causing it to crust and shrink over 10 days (approx.) following treatment. It’s important not to pick the crusts during this time. Most small blemishes only require one treatments, large blemishes may require multiple.
A patch test is required first during which a small area of one blemish is treated. You will then be quoted for all your blemishes and provided your skin heals within 2 weeks, full treatment can then be booked.

what makes nimue different?
There are 3 categories of products on the market for skin that are classified according to the FDA: Cosmetics, which can be bought online and on the high street, medical products which can only be prescribed by a doctor and ‘cosmeceuticals’ which are stronger than cosmetics but not enough to be classed as medical. They are one available to purchase through a trained skin care professional via a face to face consultation in a salon or clinic. For a product to fit into this category it has to physically change the skin rather than just improve its appearance. Physically changing it could include controlling sebaceous gland activity, stimulating collagen production, reduction of melanin production and more. The reason I work with Nimue out of all the cosmeceutical brands out there is because the products will penetrate the skin on their own without the need for electrical machines. This makes it easier to see results quickly just by using the products at home.
Will nimue work for me?

The honest answer is ‘it depends’. There are many factors that contribute abnormal skin functioning and incorrect products is just one of them. In short, I have a 90% success rate with my own clients using Nimue products alone and 95% success rate when combined with professional treatments for the most persistent cases. Bring your current skin care with you to your consultation so I can see which ingredients you heave already tried.
How long do I need to use the products for to see results?
Clients will start using Phase 1 (where I started) which is cleanser, conditioner, day cream or night cream and SPF during daylight hours. This stage lasts 4 weeks and clients typically see at least 30% improvement during this time.
Following 4 weeks, Phase 2 commences where one extra product is introduced every other evening under the night cream. This phase gives an additional 20% improvement over 2-4 weeks.
Most clients will stop here unless they require further results. As mentioned, 10% of clients will want to see additional results where peels, micro-needling, LED therapy, or a combination of all 3 can be used for the ultimate result. This would mean around 12 weeks of treatment.
How much will it cost?
It’s impossible to give an overall cost as every client will have a slightly different treatment plan. Sometimes a client will start on the products (around £25-£50 per month) and not need any other treatment. In salon treatments range from £15-£100 per session. Treatment plans and costs are given during your no obligation consultation.
What ages can you treat?
Products are suitable from age 10. LED therapy is suitable from age 16 and peels and micro-needling are suitable from age 18.
My skin is sensitive. Will I still be able to use the products?
Yes but you’ll need to desensitise the skin with Nimue’s Interactive range first before treating any other concerns e.g. acne or wrinkles. It will take longer to see results this way but LED light therapy can be introduced at any stage to start treating the skin while on the Interactive range.
I am under the care of a doctor for my skin already, can I still have treatments?
It depends which medication you are taking. As guidelines change frequently regarding antibiotic and tretinoin use, it’s important to book a consultation to get the most up to date advice. I will never advise you to discontinue a medical product that has been prescribed for you. If you feel as though your medication is not working for you, it’s important to seek your doctor’s advice before discontinuing and trying a different skin care.
